Hautlence Unveils Modernized HLXX Commemorative Edition: A Tribute to 20 Years of Innovation

While unmistakably rooted in the iconic HL series, the HLXX exudes a fresh perspective, seamlessly blending contemporary flair with timeless elegance....

Hautlence first graced the horological scene two decades ago in Neuchatel, Switzerland. Renowned for its avant-garde approach to watchmaking, characterized by bold designs, exposed mechanics, and inventive time displays, Hautlence has carved its niche as a beacon of creativity in the industry. Now, standing proudly as a sister company to H. Moser & Cie, Hautlence has embarked on a triumphant return, unveiling a revamped aesthetic and a revitalized persona.

In a nod to its illustrious journey, Hautlence commemorates its 20th anniversary with the launch of the Hautlence HLXX, a masterpiece infused with the essence of the brand’s evolution. While unmistakably rooted in the iconic HL series, the HLXX exudes a fresh perspective, seamlessly blending contemporary flair with timeless elegance. The hallmark TV-screen-shaped case, synonymous with Hautlence, undergoes a transformative metamorphosis, boasting an integrated design sans visible lugs, imparting a newfound sense of dynamism and athleticism.

Crafted from the finest grade 5 titanium, the Hautlence HLXX strikes the perfect balance between durability and lightweight construction. Its sleek dimensions of 37mm x 45mm x 11.75 mm (10.5 mm excluding the sapphire crystal) ensure a refined silhouette that epitomizes understated sophistication. With a water resistance rating of 100 meters, the HLXX is primed for both urban adventures and aquatic escapades.

At the core of the Hautlence HLXX lies the revered calibre A20. Paying homage to tradition while embracing modernity, the calibre A20 features a mesmerizing lever system, reminiscent of the intricate mechanisms found in vintage locomotives. The sub-dial on the left-hand side showcases the jumping hours, with a sapphire disc gracefully rotating to mark each passing hour. Meanwhile, the retrograde minutes hand, positioned on the bottom-right side, elegantly resets every 60 minutes, adding a touch of theatricality. Enhancing the spectacle, a rotating Hautlence logo serves as a discreet seconds indicator.

The Hautlence HLXX is presented on a sleek black integrated rubber strap secured with a titanium folding buckle. Limited to just 20 pieces, the Hautlence HLXX is poised to captivate discerning enthusiasts and collectors alike, with an estimated price of CHF 36,000 (subject to confirmation).
