Celebrating its illustrious 140-year journey of craftsmanship and innovation, Bulgari, the revered Roman maison, unveils a mesmerizing homage to its horological legacy with the Octo Finissimo Automatic 140th Anniversary Sketch Dial.

At the heart of this commemorative creation lies the iconic Octo Finissimo Automatic, refined to its MK2 iteration, a paragon of technical prowess and aesthetic refinement. Crafted in either stainless steel or opulent 18k rose gold, the case exudes understated sophistication, its satin-finished and polished facets embodying the perfect balance of form and function. Redesigned for enhanced usability, the case now boasts a commendable 100-meter water resistance, ensuring versatility for the discerning modern wearer.

Embodying the spirit of innovation, Bulgari offers aficionados the choice between classic stainless steel or sumptuous 18k rose gold bracelets, meticulously finished with satin and polished surfaces, and secured with a concealed butterfly clasp. Through the sapphire crystal case back, the marvel within is revealed – the manufacture caliber BVL138, an ultra-thin automatic movement adorned with a platinum micro-rotor. Despite its svelte dimensions, this horological masterpiece boasts an impressive 60-hour power reserve

A marriage of artistry and mechanical ingenuity, the sketch dial, conceived by the visionary Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, pays homage to the intricate mechanics beneath. Against a sandblasted base dial, meticulously color-matched to the case material, Stigliani’s hand-drawn rendition of the BVL138 movement unfolds, infusing the timepiece with a captivating human touch.

Released as a limited edition of 280 pieces in stainless steel and 70 pieces in 18k rose gold, each exemplar is a rare treasure, destined to captivate discerning collectors and enthusiasts alike. Priced at EUR 17,800 or CHF 15,200 for stainless steel and EUR 51,500 or CHF 47,000 for rose gold.
