Unveiling the Bernhard Lederer Central Impulse Chronometer InVerto

Introducing the Bernhard Lederer Central Impulse Chronometer InVerto – a timepiece that transcends conventional design, pushing the boundaries of innovation in watchmaking. This latest evolution of the Central Impulse Chronometer (CIC) series captures attention with its mesmerizing movement and distinctive features.

The InVerto builds upon the foundation laid by the unique piece initially crafted for Only Watch 2023, showcasing the German independent watchmaker’s dedication to both function and form. With the postponement of the fundraiser, this piece has appeared instead.

This timepiece stands out for its bold decision to forego a traditional dial, allowing the intricate Central Impulse Chronometer movement to take center stage. The exposed movement, with twin barrels and independent gear trains, is a symphony of precision and craftsmanship. The 10-second remontoires add a fascinating rhythmic element, visible through the domed sapphire crystal that generously exposes the internal complexities.

The design embraces a dark aesthetic, featuring a black DLC treatment that perfectly complements the 44mm diameter case made of 904L steel. The monochromatic allure extends seamlessly to the matching alligator strap, creating a harmonious visual experience. The Lederer logo discreetly resides inside the domed sapphire crystal, a subtle touch that adds to the overall elegance.

Turning the watch over, the caseback reveals a symbolic figure-eight pattern, reminiscent of the dial on the initial CIC versions. This connection to the brand’s heritage is a thoughtful nod to the past while embracing the future of watchmaking.

Limited to just 18 pieces, the Bernhard Lederer Central Impulse Chronometer InVerto is now available for order, inviting enthusiasts to own a piece of horological artistry. Priced at CHF 150,000
