In a bittersweet turn of events, the beloved Jaguar F-Type will take its final bow in 2024 to pave the way for the brand’s electrifying future. Making its grand exit is the all-new limited edition F-Type ZP Edition, a fitting tribute to the legacy of Jaguar’s internal combustion-powered sports cars that have been thrilling enthusiasts since the 1960s.

This exclusive edition comprises just 150 meticulously crafted units, with a mere 10 earmarked for the lucky roads of the United Kingdom. As you might expect, these aren’t your average F-Types; they are the roaring, supercharged V8 versions that define the essence of Jaguar’s high-performance legacy.

Each F-Type ZP Edition takes its DNA from the range-topping 567bhp petrol V8 F-Type, a beast whose engine note has even earned its place in the British Library’s archives. The performance remains unchanged, with a lightning-quick 0-60mph dash in just 3.5 seconds, and a top speed of 186mph where conditions allow.

Both the coupe and convertible versions of the F-Type ZP Edition draw inspiration from two iconic racing E-Types from the 1960s, adding a touch of history to their visual charm. You’ll have the privilege of choosing between two distinctive colourways that pay homage to the race-winning Project ZP E-Types, which stormed onto the motorsport scene in 1961.

The first option presents a striking blue exterior complemented by a lavish red and ebony leather interior. If a subtler look is your preference, the second option offers a sophisticated grey exterior paired with a blue and ebony leather interior. To underline its racing lineage, both choices feature bold, hand-painted white gloss roundels adorning the doors and grille surrounds, rumored to inject an extra 100bhp of raw power into the mix.

The chosen colors are seamlessly matched to brand-new diamond-turned 20-inch forged alloy wheels, fresh tread plates, and an exclusive ‘1 of 150’ commissioning plaque.

As Jaguar charts its course towards a fully electrified future, starting in 2025, the F-Type ZP Edition stands as a remarkable celebration of the brand’s history in internal combustion sports cars. Rawdon Glover, Jaguar’s Managing Director, had this to say: “F-Type has captivated sports car drivers for more than a decade, just as the E-Type did five decades before it. The ZP Edition is the ultimate celebration of that lineage, joining an illustrious roster of heritage-inspired collector’s editions, including the 2015 Project 7 and 2020 Heritage 60 Edition.”

For those eager to get behind the wheel of the F-Type ZP coupe, prices start at £134,925 (~$259,00 AUD), while the convertible version can be yours from £138,390 (~$265,500 AUD). These limited editions are sure to become coveted collector’s items, so don’t miss your chance to own a piece of automotive history.
