Bausele Introduce Four New Colourways in Their Ocean Moon Collection

Bausele’s popular Ocean Moon collection is getting four new colourways to help you get from the beach to the boardroom without skipping a beat. The new colours are Algae Court (white and green), Orca Black, Pacific Blue, and Emerald Green.

The Ocean Moon was designed to be relaxed and focused. That philosophy combined with a breath of fresh Aussie air gives us pieces that perfectly suited to the Australian lifestyle. So suited that each example carries with it a piece of Australia, grains of beach sand within the crown.

While Australia is a part of Bausele and the Ocean Moon collection, the snowy peaks of Switzerland make their presence felt. These are Swiss-made pieces meaning that you don’t have to worry and baby these pieces. A 316L stainless-steel case paired with 200m of water resistance doesn’t hurt either.

Powering this collection is the durable Sellita SW200 Swiss automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. To add even more durability, Bausele have utilised a Faraday cage shock system and anti-magnetic construction within.

Bausele want you to get lost in the dial, in its simplicity and to enhance that effect the watch is a sizeable 42mm. It’s a statement without being too loud about it. You’ll notice the unique 12, 4, and 8 digits on the sunray-style sandwich dial paired with large hands outfitted with Super-Luminova. The focus is time, if you wanted more, look at your smartphone.

On the caseback you’ll find engravings of the ocean and moon, a nod to Bausele founder Christophe Hoppe’s inspiration for the Ocean Moon where he found himself lying on the beach as night descended without his phone and nobody around.

To complement the pieces, Bausele created a unique band that uses high-performance recycled PET plastic to resemble the texture of sand on a beach.

These pieces are available for pre-order now from Bausele’s website for US$1,300 ($2,073 AUD) with deliveries expected in December 2023.
