The MeisterSinger Unomat Gets a Bold Orange Release

LImited to 50 pieces, the MeisterSinger Unomat now has an orange dial. ...

When MeisterSinger turned 20 in 2021, they celebrated with the Unomat. The Unomat was no joke, winning the very prestigious Red Dot design award that same year. Originally, it only arrived in steel with black or blue dials but they’ve certainly moved on from that with a brand new limited edition orange dial.

The 43mm stainless steel case has robust sides, all brushed and polished, that flow into crown guards protecting the screw-down crown, while the screwed steel caseback ensures the movement’s safety.

Speaking of movements, powering this is the customised Sellita SW400 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. The customised elements include magnetic field protection (via a soft iron sleeve within the case) and an improved water resistance rating of 300m.

The dial is made from soft iron which also contributes to the anti-magnetic properties of the watch. The white hour indices have corresponding double-digit numerals with the only exception being 6 o’clock which has been replaced with a date with a reversed white on black scheme.

Now the dial is matched with an equally bright orange rubber strap which isn’t offered on any of the other Unomats.

These are limited to 50 pieces, but unfortunately for those Down Under, these aren’t available in Australia. These are priced at EU 2,390.
