It’s “Offshore Year” for Audemars Piguet with the 30th anniversary of the Royal Oak Offshore seeing a slew of new releases this year. Royal Oak’s in general are fairly big watches but for this release AP have catered to smaller watch lovers with five new Offshores in 37mm.

First up is the controversial Offshore Music Edition which has received a 37mm x 12.1mm ceramic release with 50m of water resistance. Obviously music is the inspiration here with a printed “equaliser” on the dial, while the studs are reminiscent of jack plugs and the crown guards of faders. Inside is the Selfwinding Calibre 5909 with a 60-hour power reserve. It comes equipped with a black rubber strap with a “Mosaic” motif but there are three other colour options. These are limited to 250 pieces.

The other four watches are all 37mm Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronographs with iced out bezels. You’ve got the pink gold “rainbow” model with 32 baguette-cut rubies, tsavorites, topaz, tanzanites, amethysts, and six colours of sapphire.
The salmon dial on steel has 32 brilliant-cut diamonds similar to the 18k pink gold model with a light blue dial. Finally, we have the yellow gold version with 32 baguette-cut tsavorites with blue and yellow sapphires.
Each of these watches are powered by the Selfwinding Calibre 2385 with a 40-hour power reserve and 50m of water resistance. They each have a variety of strap options as well, while the cases are slightly thicker than the Music Edition at 12.4mm.
Everything is priced on request.
