SPOTTED: Lewis Hamilton Wearing an Unreleased IWC Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar in Miami

Lewis Hamilton has been spotted wearing an unreleased watch from IWC at the Miami Grand Prix. ...

Lewis Hamilton is a brand ambassador for IWC (alongside the small achievements he’s made as a 7x World Champion in F1) so that obviously allows him some sneak previews of what’s to come from the brand. At the Miami Grand Prix, Hamilton gave us a sneak preview of his own sneak preview after being spotted with a brand new IWC Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar.

Rocking up to the track decked out in Tommy Hilfiger, you can see a bright white watch on his wrist akin to the Top Gun Lake Tahoe. It’s hard not to notice, not just because it’s a very bright white, but because it’s around 46mm in diameter.

There aren’t even official images of this watch yet, but we can see that it has the same design codes as the Mojave but with a similar colourway to the Lake Tahoe, which means a white case on a black dial.

We don’t know when this will be released, what it will be priced at, or even what kind of movement it has in it but it will probably be the in-house 69380 calibre found in most of the Big Pilot’s line. It also looks to be a ceramic watch with a rubber strap, again nothing we haven’t seen before.

Pricing wise, this is pure conjecture, but if it’s in line with IWC’s current Big Pilot’s Perpetual Calendar, we’re looking at around $49,500 AUD.
