Best Fits at the NBA All-Star Weekend

There were quite a few great outfits at the NBA All-Star weekend, far more than at the Superbowl. While we can all appreciate a casual outfit, there’s something about going all out for a big sporting event (especially if you are attending). So who wore it best or who was at least noteworthy?

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Spotted wearing all-leather everything, this look is giving strong Dennis Rodman vibes, which depending on who you are might be the worst thing or the best.

Bennedict Mathurin

This is very chic. No joke, this is something I would wear/have worn. However, I’m not sure how to feel about the necklace. Other than that, great look.

Josh Giddey

This has a king energy to it that may be partly due to the coat or Josh Giddy himself. It’s simple, all black really despite the coat, but that’s what you want to focus on here. If he had on nothing but statement pieces, or if his other garments were too loud, this look wouldn’t work as well, it’d be too busy.

Guy Fieri

While not sporting his traditional flames, the legendary Mayor of Flavourtown, Guy Fieri, still managed to keep his signature style motif on display. Not sure I’d recommend wearing something like this unless you you’re Guy Fieri, though.

Michael B. Jordan

Living for this purple cardigan. Layered on that pastel purple t-shirt? Jordan looks incredibly comfortable.

Jaren Jackson Jr.

I’m not sure if this is one of the best fits, but it certainly is one of the boldest and ambitious. Does it work? Partly. The jacket is interesting, but I’m not so sure about the pants or top. Maybe this could have been better with some added colour? I’m not sure, but due to the outfit simply making me think about it, I’m adding it to the list.

Jayson Tatum

This is just cute and happy. The colours, the fit, it just makes me want to give him a hug. It isn’t the best fit of the weekend, but it’s fun and isn’t trying too hard.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Again)

It’s not as good as his previous entry on the list, but that coat is bloody divine. Not sure about the rest though. If he leaned into the urban cowboy look with some cowboy boots, this might’ve worked better.
