Golden Goose is renowned for its hand-crafted luxury shoes, made in the typical high quality befitting their Italian heritage. Now, they’re bringing their newest style, the Space-Star, to Australia.
The unisex Space-Star has an eccentric, avant-garde design: it’s not afraid to take risks and push the boundaries of fashion in an industry that can at times allow itself to stagnate.
For those who prefer a lightweight shoe that offers a spring to your step, the Space-Star lives to please: it has an extra-cushion sole and an insole padded with memory foam for providing support and easing pressure on the foot.

The range features four new styles with iconic colourways in various materials, such as suede, nylon, leopard pony skin and glitter, allowing for a style for every scenario.
One of the men’s Space-Stars is lined with soft leather, and has a tobacco-coloured suede upper, which is accented by a tone-on-tone perforated star logo, and a silver metallic leather heel tab. A pair of cream-coloured laces bring the look together, giving the shoe a rustic aesthetic. This shoe also has a sabot version for those looking to combine outdoor utility with indoor flair: both versions retail at $1,030 AUD.
The other men’s Space-Star is also lined with soft leather, but its design is wildly different: its upper has a colourway of beige and black leopard-print on pony skin, combined with a black leather star and heel tab, along with white laces. Retailing at $1,130, this style is perfect for traversing an urban jungle.
Finally, the Space-Star has a model for women: its upper shines with a silver glitter colourway, and is adorned with an appliquéd star, tongue and heel tab in ice-grey suede, as well as a soft shearling lining. This variant retails at $1,230.
The Space-Star range just released today across the country, so if you’re in the market for some quality hand-made Italian shoes, keep an eye out.
