Rowing Blazers x K-Swiss Drop 90s Style Tennis Capsule

90s inspired tennis wear that would make Andre Agassi proud. Whip out your mullet and jump on the court with Rowing Blazers x K-Swiss. ...
Rowing Blazers x K-Swiss

Rowing Blazers have teamed up with K-Swiss to drop a very 90s inspired capsule. It’s a match made in heaven too as Rowing Blazers is very nostalgic when it comes to its aesthetic so pairing it with K-Swiss’ tennis heritage has given us a collection that Andre Agassi would be proud to wear.

We’ve got both apparel and footwear on display here. It’s all bright and funky with very 90s style pinks, greens, and blues. How these colours remain simultaneously pastel yet not is something that keeps me up at night.

The absolute highlight of this collection has to be the graphic pullover windbreaker because, well, who makes a pullover windbreaker anymore?

For the sneakerheads out there, there’s a new interpretation of the Si-18 sneaker in a full 90s colour palette similar to the windbreaker. The cast of Full House called and they want their shoes back. There’s a range of technical elements as well like asymmetric midsoles, a D-R Cinch lacing system apparently inspired by vintage ski boots (it really is the 90s or even the 80s at this point), finally there’s the Silicone Formula 18 from which the shoe takes its name.

This collection has been partly influenced by Rowing Blazers’ founder, Jack Carlson, who said,

“I’ve been wearing K-Swiss since I was a kid, and the Si-18 is an iconic tennis shoe in a way that just a small number of sneakers are truly important in the history of athletic footwear. So this collaboration is very meaningful for me. I wanted to use a very wearable ‘90s palette, and I was inspired by the tennis gear I collected growing up, going to the Open, and attending tennis camps. Although rowing became my main sport, tennis was always my passion.”

The collection is available now on Rowing Blazers’ site!
