Supreme x Burberry is finally here after the rumours in January and thankfully it doesn’t disappoint.
Supreme have unveiled their Spring/Summer 2022 collaboration with Burberry. This was leaked in January of this year by Instagram account Supreme Leaks News. Given that they had successfully predicted the Gucci/Adidas collab and the Supreme/North Face collab, it was safe to assume they were right about this.
And right they were. The two companies confirmed the collaboration and gave us a whole look book at what we have to look forward to. There are heavy cotton box logo hoodies, denim trucker jackets, skate decks, down-filled puffer jackets, rugby shirts, bucket hats, and of course a series of box logo t-shirts.

The Gabardine trench coats made so popular by Burberry since the 1920s now sport Supreme branding and come in a dazzling hot pink or black.
This collaboration shouldn’t come as much of a shock as Supreme’s founder, James Jebbia, grew up in the U.K. and has been a driving force for the melding between streetwear and luxury. This is as a result of two things, the collaborations with Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. but also its limited edition drops.
Burberry has also been more focused on providing a younger, streetwear focused aesthetic. They’re dropping chunky sneakers, Nove check-emblazoned messenger bags, and logo heavy bomber jackets. This collaboration is beginning to make a lot more sense for the two companies but it’s also a greater trend in fashion.
The collection will be made available at sumprenewyork.com on Thursday 11am AEST. Select pieces will only be available at Burberry stores, mainly the leathers and silk pyjamas.
