After taking a peek at some leaks earlier this year, it has been confirmed by Ferrari that they are indeed making an SUV.
People are divided in their opinion surrounding Ferrari making an SUV as many see it as the manufacturer going against their own philosophy. However, we should wait until the car comes out in order to give proper judgement.
With that being said, it doesn’t really matter if people are complaining because Ferrari are going ahead with their plans as they have confirmed on a recent Instagram post, “You’ve heard the rumours… and we’re delighted to confirm they’re true (some of them). All will be revealed later this year.”
So the Purosangue (the assumed name of the car) is definitely happening but there are definitely some things we don’t know about the car. What those things are we can only speculate. No details have been given about the engine and the internet has assumed it will be a V8 or a V6 hybrid, but again, no one really knows.
It will certainly be interesting to see which of the rumours are true and which aren’t. All we know for sure is that it’s an SUV. Hopefully it isn’t as awful as the others in its class (looking at you Porsche Cayenne).
