Moët & Chandon are bringing their massive ‘Effervescence’ event to Sydney on December 2. The event is host to several immersive and unique experiences.
Sydney Harbour will be home to several experiences from December 2 – 4. So what is it exactly?
Well first and foremost, Moët & Chandon are bringing a 500 square metre circular sculpture to Bennelong lawn. This is the titular ‘Effervescence’ the event is referring to. The installation, according to Moët & Chandon, is a “bubbling symbol of celebration set on one of Sydney’s most iconic vantage points.”
You can actually go inside the massive sculpture and that’s where things get a little more interesting. The winemaker has provided a journey through Moët & Chandon’s history with the ‘Cellars of Moët’ exhibition.
The exhibition isn’t the only thing inside, though. A massive custom-built chandelier will be alongside a ‘Eternal Effervescence Room’ – whatever that is – and an opulent champagne tower.
During the day and evening you can spend $35 on a ticket that will give you access to the installation and a Moët Mini on arrival. This little drink will come out the Moët Mini-Matic, the world’s first champagne vending machine.
But, of course, the real fun is at night.
At night you have three possible curated experiences – the Moët Impérial Evening, the Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial Evening, and the Moët Grand Vintage Evening. All provide champagne, canapés, and celebrations.
Tickets for these events start at $100. These will provide ticketholders with exclusive access to the ‘Effervescence’ and only 120 tickets will be available for each night. You do get champagne, roving food, and live DJ sets included as well.
Managing Director of Moët Hennessy Australia & New Zealand, Regis Dupuis, said of the event,
A ‘Toast for a Cause’ is present at the event which is a charitable initiative whose donations go towards local organisations dedication to preserving biodiversity.
