No stranger to controversy, Conor McGregor finds himself in amongst it once again. This time it involves Italian DJ, Francesco Facchinetti, whom McGregor reportedly punched in the face.

McGregor was in Italy to get his third child baptised at the Vatican. They went out to celebrate and as Facchinetti revealed on his Instagram account, they were partying with McGregor and his wife with no issue for hours. Sounds like a normal night out to celebrate, right?

Facchinetti’s wife explains,

“Out of nowhere he threw a punch in the face of Francesco. [McGregor] was inviting us to another party. Francesco said, ‘OK, let’s go,’ and he hit him. Luckily, [Francesco] was very close so [McGregor] couldn’t load up [his punch]. Francesco flew back, fell on the table, and then on the ground. The first thing that came to mind was, ‘Are we kidding? Is it a show?’”

Facchinetti himself stated that he will be pursuing legal action against McGregor as he says he took “took the punch for nothing.” He went further and explained that McGregor was dangerous, “That punch could go to anyone. My friends, my wife, or other friends. That’s why I decided to sue Conor McGregor because he is a violent and dangerous person.”
