With WandaVision being such a massive hit, earning the studio a few Emmys, it’s no small wonder that a spin-off would be in the works.

Variety have reported that the spin-off will star Kathryn Hahn as the witch Agnes/Agatha, the villain of WandaVision. The show apparently will be a dark comedy but the actual plot still remains a mystery.

The head writer from WandaVision, Jac Schaeffer, is also set to return in a writer/executive producer role.

Marvel Studios are keeping everything very hush hush as usual and neither Hahn’s or Schaeffer’s representatives would respond to Variety’s requests for comment.

In the comics, Agatha Harkness is one of the original witches persecuted during the Salem Witch Trials. She was originally portrayed as Scarlett Witch’s magical teacher and mentor but given what happened in WandaVision, that probably won’t happen. The spin-off could take a different turn and turn her into a reformed hero, a bit like the Loki series has done. She also plays a large role regarding Scarlett Witch’s children who were taken by the demon Mephisto. But again, Scarlett Witch’s ‘children’ did appear in the show so it seems unlikely that they will appear again but who knows?

In other entertainment news, the new ‘House of the Dragon’ teaser just dropped for those aching to get back to the world of Westeros.
