All the new references have four sunray brushed dials that are either blue, black, or silver. All the dials also feature applied, polished indices. They also all feature a domed and bevelled sapphire crystal with AR coating and a screwed-down sapphire crystal caseback that shows off the TAG Heuer Calibre 5 automatic movement. The movement provides a power reserve of 38 hours which is a bit underwhelming.
They’re all quite similar in design and the differences really simply come down to the case size and position of the complications. They’re all quite stunning if not a little underpowered.
This simplicity is something that Gosling says he loves, “I appreciate the timeless design. I like clean and simple design generally. Growing up, we lived on a pretty tight budget. I gravitated towards things that were simple and timeless so I didn’t have to think about keeping up with trends.”
These watches are on sale now with prices that range from $3,350 AUD to $4,750 AUD.
