DJ Snake performed a livestreamed set in Paris to celebrate the launch of the new Big Bang, his first collaboration with Hublot.
The Big Bang DJ Snake features a 45mm titanium case that showcases an incredibly funky-looking iridescent “Newton’s Rings” PVD finish. It’s all shiny shades of blue and purple and really carries the look and feel of a rave or club. It’s appropriate given the collaboration and it definitely works in the watches favour.
It comes with two rubber straps, one in black, and one in a grey, black, and purple camouflage pattern if you really want to up the fashion statement. We think that it might be better with the black strap to let the case do all the work and really shine.
It really all does come together well here. The Big Bang DJ Snake (ref. 411.NN.0179.RX.DJS21) is loud in all the right ways a Hublot should be. This feels right at home on the dancefloor while you may want to hold off on wearing it to a business meeting, but that’s your prerogative.
Hublot CEO, Ricardo Guadalupe, said of the collaboration, “DJ Snake turns everything he touches to gold. We are thrilled to have been able to channel his outstanding creativity into this new limited edition piece. The result is truly multifaceted, just like DJ Snake’s talents!”
There will only be 100 pieces of this watch made and is available now via Hublot’s website for $26,200 USD ($35,200 AUD).
