The SLGA007 is the sportier of the two with a stainless-steel case and bracelet. According to Seiko, this model is inspired by quiet surface of Lake Suwa near Seiko’s watch manufacturing plant. The dial is a beautiful deep blue and features a subtle wave pattern. The polished sword hands on the dial contrast with blue in such classic sports watch fashion.
Both watches are powered by Grand Seiko’s new Caliber 9RA2, an automatic spring drive movement that can carry up to 120 hours of power.
The wood patterned SLGA008 is limited to just 140 pieces and has a price tag of $49,000 USD ($67,440 AUD). The SLGA007 is limited to 2,021 pieces and will sell for $8,700 USD ($12,000 AUD). Check them out at Seiko’s website.
