Rumours have been circulating the Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, have been trying to sell their $30 million house in Byron Bay earlier this month, and now they’ve been linked to another property.
The house that the couple are rumoured to be looking at is a $50 million mansion in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire which has been described as “Australia’s finest house.”
This comes from Sarah McGilvary, radio host on the NOVAFM’s Fitzy and Wippa show. According to McGilvary, the couple have been spotted inspecting the house multiple times. “Chris Hemsworth, this is awesome… he’s been house hunting and I’ve had a tip-off from someone,” she said, “I have it on good authority that he’s been there, two to three times.”
The house itself includes seven bedrooms and 19 bathrooms with 3965sqm of internal space across six floors. Other features include six kitchens, a theatre, wine tasting room, bowling alley, and what’s been called a “bat cave.”
*Checks notes* that’s all, right? Oh no, there’s also two bars, three commercial lifts, an archery range, a 20-car garage, a day spa, a Turkish steam room, swimming pool, and finally a private beach and marina.
The property is currently owned by entrepreneur Steve Shelley, who purchased the four properties surrounding the original house and spent over $30 million over four years to create the massive mansion that sits there today.
This is what Marvel money can get you apparently. All you have to be is talented, handsome, and very lucky. Is that so much to ask?
