These 5 billionaires are well known to just about everybody and each of them earn an hourly wage well above the average Australian CEO.
Jeff Bezos - $4,474,886 per hour
According to Forbes, Jeff Bezos is worth an estimated $195.2 billion so it’s no small wonder that his hourly earnings are so damn high. Obviously, a bunch of his income comes from Amazon but he also owns the Washington Post and Blue Origin, all of which add to his ridiculous market valuation.
Bernard Arnault & Family - $3,481,735 per hour
The man who temporarily dethroned Bezos as the world’s richest man obviously earns a ridiculous amount per hour. Arnault oversees the fashion conglomerate LVMH that includes luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Dior. His estimated net worth is $72 billion.
Mark Zuckerberg - $1,712,329 per hour
The human robot and creator of Facebook has a current net worth of $120 billion. He still owns 15% of Facebook’s shares which increased in value by 30% in 2020 to increase in net worth by $26 billion. Great, so glad Facebook is doing well…
Warren Buffett - $958,904 per hour
Warren Buffet is perhaps the most successful investors of all time with an estimated net worth of $96 billion. He is the head of Berkshire Hathaway, a multinational holding conglomerate that has holdings in Geico, Dairy Queen, Apple, and American Express.
Bill Gates - $456,621 per hour
The Microsoft co-founder has a current estimated net worth of $90 billion but he’s also invested in a bunch of other companies like Canadian National Railway and AutoNation. He also, strangely enough, is the largest owners of farmland in the US.
