Louis Vuitton have created an entirely bespoke trophy case for the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix. This comes with the news that Automobile Club de Monaco and Louis Vuitton have announced a multi-year partnership.

It looks like Lewis Hamilton will have a nice travel case to decorate his home in Monaco with when he likely wins the next race in Monaco on May 23. Unless Verstappen can actually catch him. Fingers crossed.

The travel case features the iconic LV-monogram in red and black; the red being the same shade as Monaco’s flag and a V that’s far more pronounced and embellished which is meant to signify ‘victory’. Little bit obvious and over-the-top but that’s just how it is, I guess. The trunk was crafted in the Maison’s Ansières studio near Paris.

As the Monaco Grand Prix is one of the most prestigious automobile races in the world it just makes sense that one of the largest luxury brands in the world, Louis Vuitton, would be interested in a partnership like this.

Michael Burke, LV Chairman & CEO said of the partnership,

“At almost 300km/h between the rails, it’s the Formula 1 Grand Prix that all drivers aspire to win one day. Today, we are proud to be associated with the championship and to together start writing a piece of history. The trophy trunk epitomises, ‘Victory travels in Louis Vuitton’ – witnessing the next victories and continuing to carry legends.”
