The stars came out in force today at the 2021 Oscars. It doesn’t seem to matter if these award events are virtual or not because these stars are wearing their best no matter what. Here are our best picks from this year’s Oscars!

Lakeith Stanfield

We’ve said it before, but we’ll say it again: the 70s are back, baby! Look at how fresh Stanfield looks with his big collar and chain. The custom Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccaerello black jumpsuit is certainly one way to shake up the stale outfits of men’s formalwear. Easily one of the best dressed this year.

Amanda Seyfried

What a stunning shade of red that gives Seyfried that old-Hollywood kind of glamour. The tulle frock features a full skirt and a plunging neckline from Armani Privé. I think the neckline is one of the highlights of this outfit. Something a little different.

Celeste Waite

British singer, Celeste Waite, wore a fabulously goth-inspired gown by Gucci. The two parts include a black and red diamond patterned bodice paired with a floor-length black skirt. The best touch is the handbag shaped like a heart that really give me those Morticia Addams vibes.

Regina King

Regina King looks like an absolute queen in this custom-made Louis Vuitton gown. The winged shoulders and the billowed-out hemline give this dress a gloriously flowing look to it that reminds me of a gently flowing river. Apparently, this dress took 140 hours to make and features 4,000 crystals. All that work has definitely been worth it.

Riz Ahmed

Once again, Ahmed ends up on one of our lists. The man just has such great style that he keeps hitting out of the park every red carpet he attends. This time around he’s kept it classic and lowkey in all black. The entire outfit is by Prada once again and it has to be said that these two need to keep up their collaboration because Ahmed looks great in Prada.

Margot Robbie

Now we all know the Australian actress is stunning but this time she kept it classic with a custom gunmetal Chanel gown. The gown was covered in metallic lace and she paired a bunch of Chanel accessories to complete her look. It’s very understated yet very confident. Like she knows she doesn’t have to show off. It really works here.

Vanessa Kirby

After that stunning dress she wore at the BAFTAs I didn’t think Kirby would impress us once again but here she is, impressing us again. The British actress wore a pink structured gown by Gucci that has a train! It’s a stunning gown that goes for something different compared to her BAFTAs dress. Here’s hoping Kirby will make it onto future lists.

Zendaya went with a beautiful flowing canary yellow gown from Valentino Couture. She looks effortlessly glamourous here and the rising star looks like she’s already comfortable on the red carpet. I look forward to her next red carpet.

Andra Day

The best actress nominee wore a custom gown by Vera Wang and in the words of Tyra Banks, she looks fierce. The metallic sheer and the messy yet done up hair add to a feeling of effortlessness that I know didn’t come without effort. It’s a great look topped with jewellery from Tiffany & Co.
